My Evil Bird Alpha 1.0 Update!

It's been a little over year since I updated this game. I also changed the name of the game just a little, but don't worry its still the same game as before! Because of the long time update I will tell you why. I am not really a good programmer, I can do basic things but sometimes my ideas are bigger then my skill level, so I was stuggling to figure out how to move forward with the mechanices a lot of my games have.  I ended up finding a tool called Fungus that allowed me to add dialogue, and events that would have taken me a long time to figure out with programming alone. This tool allowed me to change how my games work in order to make them more fun and easier for me to put together.

I threw out the old mechanices of having the stats drop every few secounds and replaced it with a more story driven pet simulator. The game will now have a day by day in-game base play as you take care of Lawrence. Lawrence stats will now drop only when you progress to the next day. Depending on devoplments there may be additional options that may trigger the stats to drop, but that option is still up in the air. As stated before, the game is going to be more story driven. This resulted in having a few cool new things added such as a intro scene that shows why you are taking care of Lawrence's, and a few different dialogues that you can trigger each day to get more story.

Currently the game only has 2 playable days, but that doesn't mean that's all it has! I implemented 3 "rough" endings that gives a sneak peek at what some of the endings will be like when the game is finished. I wonder if y'all can figure it out how to get those endings? I would love to know if you did!

The next update should not take as long as this one, (unless something life changing stops me). The next update should focus more on getting the settings working so y'all can adjust the sounds and music to your liking, and maybe a few minor things like a new background.
